While it's possible to alter the personal privacy setting of each individual post you share, what if you desired to stop a particular friend from seeing any of your material moving forward? Facebook's Restricted List feature enables you to do simply that.
When you include a buddy to your Restricted List, they won't see any of your future posts unless they are tagged in the posts or the posts have a "Public" privacy setting.
Here's how to add users to your Limited List in the Facebook mobile application. Note: These screenshots were caught in the Facebook app on iOS.
Action 1: Go the profile of the user you want to contribute to your Restricted List. You can arrive by looking for the user manually, or by tapping on their name on a post or remark they've shared.
Action 2: Tap the "Pals" button under the user's name.
Action3: Tap "Edit Buddy Notes."
Action 4: Scroll to the bottom of the list, and tap "Limited" to include a check mark to this row.
